An
Announcement On Submissions
Because
of the amount of submissions and the fact that, outside
of poetry, we have a full schedule of materials for close
to the entire year of 2008, and it will allow us to focus
solely on the magazine, we will be suspending Fiction
submissions as of March 1st until August 1st.
The
suspension may be lifted before August 1, but will not
go into effect before March 1.
Poetry
submissions will NOT be suspended.

Barb
Caffrey announced as new editor/submissions editor for
The Written Word.
Effectively
immediately, Barb Caffrey is the new editor/submissions
editor for The Written Word. She has helped with submissions
in the past, and now will be taking it over. Barb has
been an integral part of Rebel Dawn Creative Forces, specifically
with Written Word’s sister company, Masterpiece
Comics, where she served as editor for the critical acclaimed
sci-fi series, Fireblast, written by Ace Masters.
Written
Word Monthly Editions to be live and online on the second
Monday of each month!
As
of October, each new monthly edition of The Written Word
will debut on the second Monday of each month and will
run until the Sunday before the new issue comes out.

Word Edition Four Reviewed Online!
The
